It was a close encounter between the two teams, with the matches square at 2-2.
However, Eaglehawk secured the title on points, defeating Golden Square Black by 59.
Eaglehawk's John Denton used his years of experience to defeat Square's rookie Aaron Petts.
Square's Brad Marwood put on a challenge for Gary McAardle, winning the match by 31 points.
The teams were locked at one match each, however, Eaglehawk retained the lead with a useful 46 points.
Both of the two final matches were close, with 30 minutes left on the clock it looked like Square was in a good position to win the last two matches.
However, Eaglehawk's Lindsay Gordon put the pressure on Square's Stephen Butterworth, to lock in victory by 28 points.
In the final game Eaglehawk's Tyson Howie finished strong to narrow the final margin as he went down to Square's Ryan Bowland, securing a points victory for the team.
VRI's John Schenck had the A-grade season high break award with a 156.
Meanwhile, in the B-grade it also came down to points.
VRI defeated Castlemaine in a close encounter with both sides winning two games each, but it was VRI ahead by 82 points.
