A ruptured gas pipe in Riddells Creek has been made safe.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 2pm.
Police and CFA members attended, along with employees from the gas company.
Powercor was also notified about concerns for a nearby power line.
Advice issued for people in the area around Richardson Street has been lifted and people can resume their usual activities.

EMERGENCY services are responding to a gas leak in Riddells Creek.
The Country Fire Authority has issued advice for the area surrounding Richardson Street, where the leak occurred.
It says there is no threat to the community, but people should stay informed and monitor conditions.
It suggests people in the immediate vicinity stay indoors.
People are advised to avoid the area and to keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
There might be some road closures near Richardson Street.
The CFA has advised anyone experiencing any symptoms that might be caused by exposure to the gas to seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024.
Anyone experiencing wheezing, chest tightness and difficulty breathing should call Triple Zero (000).
