Hawke’s three wickets in three balls helped the Borough to an emphatic win over Bendigo at Canterbury Park.

Hawks dismissed Mitch Blackman and Nathan Fitzpatrick with his first two balls, before clean bowling Craig Pearce to claim his hat-trick.
Eaglehawk’s win was set up by a blistering batting performance.
The Hawks smashed 7-170 off its 20 overs, with Zac East belting 55, including three fours and three sixes.
Earlier, marquee signing Andrew Chalkley got the Hawks off to a brisk start, hitting five boundaries in his 32.
Brett Andrews was the most successful bowler for the Goers, taking 2-34 off his four overs.
In reply, Bendigo’s marquee signing James Seymour gave the Hawks a scare early.
The Essendon batsman crunched three sixes in a quickfire 34, but when he was dismissed by Aaron Monro, the Goers innings fell away quickly.
Michael Winzar (13 not out) was the only other batsman to reach double figures as Bendigo was dismissed for just 88 in 16 overs.
Strathdale-Maristians made light work of Kangaroo Flat to join Eaglehawk on two wins from two games.
The Suns’ bowlers did a superb job to restrict the Roos to 4-106 off 20 overs.
Skipper Cam Taylor took 3-13 off his four overs, while Ben DeAraugo conceded just nine runs from his four overs.
Flat skipper Adam Burns continued his good form, making 33 off 26 balls, including five fours.
Brett Hamblin chipped in with 24 for the Roos.
Strathdale marquee player Dom Matarazzo ensured the Suns had an early night, smashing an unbeaten 59 off just 35 balls.
He hit 10 fours and a six as the Suns reached their target for the loss of one wicket in the 12th over.
Adrian Pappin hit three fours and two sixes on his way to 28 off 14 balls.
Teenage spinner Liam Bowe was the man of the match for Sandhurst in its win over Bendigo United.
Bowe took 4-10 off four overs as the Dragons restricted the Redbacks to 6-107 off 20 overs.
Ricky Mannix’s unbeaten 32 and 30 from Curtis Tuohey were the highlights of Bendigo United’s innings.
Sandhurst openers Joel Schneider and Lucas Hutchinson put the game out of the Redbacks’ reach with a quickfire opening stand of 52.
Hutchinson top scored with 42 and Schneider made 25 as the Dragons cruised to victory in the 16th over for the loss of four wickets.
Reigning premier Huntly-North Epsom won its first game, defeating Strathfieldsaye by 47 runs.
The Power made 6-128 off 20 overs on the back of 44 from Brodie McRae, 27 from Josh Collinson and an unbeaten 23 from Harry Whittle.
Strathfieldsaye never really looked like troubling the Power’s score. The Jets finished 8-81.
Isaac Hogan top scored with 36, while Zoltan Smyth had a fine all-round game adding 18 runs to the two wickets he took with the ball.
Dylan Gibson was the destroyer for the Power, taking 3-2 off his four overs.
The Golden Square versus White Hills game will be played next Tuesday night at Glen Loddon Homes Oval in White Hills.
