The EVCA’s division four Bicknells InterSports Twenty20 competition has been played the past two Sundays and features four clubs - Spring Gully, United, Golden Gully and Axe Creek.
The season is running over six weeks - a double-header each Sunday - culminating in a final to be played on March 15.

“It’s a social competition and is an opportunity for blokes who are missing out on a game of cricket to play,” said Paul Barber, one of the competition’s organisers.
“There’s a lot of guys who have work commitments on a Saturday who can’t play cricket any more, so this is a chance to cater to them.
“And we’ve also got a lot of junior players who play on a Saturday morning and want to step up and have a go at this as well.
“The players who can’t play on a Saturday get first priority and then if there’s a side that’s short they can top it up with C Grade players.
“It has been really well received by the four clubs that are involved and it’s being played in great spirits.
“There is a winner in each game, but it’s not about that... it’s about giving blokes a game of cricket who would normally miss out because of work or family commitments.”
Among the rules of the competition are batsmen retire at 50 and in the first 10 overs, each player - except the wicket-keeper - has to bowl an over.
Sunday’s round three games will be played at California Gully Oval from 10am.
Meanwhile, round 10 of the EVCA season starts on Saturday.
