Vic Country finished 0-5 after losing to East Asia Pacific on Sunday.
Strathdale-Maristians all-rounder Cam Taylor made one not out with the bat and had figures of 0-23 off three overs with the ball as Vic Country (7-129) lost by five wickets to East Asia Pacific (5-130).
Victoria Country lost to SA Country and NSW Country on Friday and then fell to WA Country and Queensland Country on Saturday.
Taylor did his best to get Victoria Country over the line against WA on Saturday.
The leg-spinner took 3-12 off his four overs to help restrict WA to just 6-109 off 20 overs.
In reply, Vic Country fell six runs short when it finished 8-103 off 20 overs. Taylor was unbeaten on 10 off six balls.
The Victoria Country batsmen finally clicked against Queensland.
Layton McCann made 62 off 43 balls and Lee Stockdale added 48 off 41 balls to guide Vic Country to what looked like a winning total of 5-157.
Queensland skipper James Spargo had other ideas. He smashed an unbeaten 71 off 46 balls, including six fours and two sixes as the Maroons passed Victoria Country’s total with two balls and four wickets to spare.
Taylor made six not out with the bat and had bowling figures of 0-33 off four overs.
The carnival’s one-day matches start on Tuesday.
