Lose to the Jets and the Roos will have an anxious wait as they watch the final round of matches early next month.
Kangaroo Flat and Strathfieldsaye enter Tuesday night's game at Dower Park as the only undefeated teams in pool two.
The Roos have the bye in the last round, so a win would give them a clean sweep of their four pool games an an automatic berth in the grand final on January 23.
The Roos were in a similar position last summer, but lost to eventual premier White Hills in their last game by five runs and missed the grand final.
Strathfieldsaye has been super impressive in scoring two wins from their first two games and the Jets boast the best net run rate in the competition.
Their batting has been outstanding, including a season-high total of 5-209 against Sandhurst last game.
White Hills needs to defeat Sandhurst at Scott Street and hope the Jets knock off the Roos to keep its faint final hopes alive.
The Demons have a 1-1 record, with their one defeat a narrow loss to the Roos.
The Dragons are winless in two matches.

In pool one, the winner of the Strathdale versus Eaglehawk clash at Bell Oval will be in the box seat to gain a final berth.
The Suns and Hawks both have 2-0 records after three rounds, but the Borough have a superior net run rate.
Strathdale, potentially, has the easier game in the final preliminary round.
The Suns play Bendigo United, while Eaglehawk tackles Huntly-North Epsom at Canterbury Park.
In the other pool one game on Tuesday night, Bendigo and Bendigo United will play for pride at North Bendigo.
The Goers have one win from three games, while the Redbacks are winless and on the bottom of the table.
With the Victorian Super Slam T20 competition also being played on Tuesday night, BDCA clubs will be without their regular Premier Cricket marquee players.
All BDCA games on Tuesday night are scheduled to start at 5.15pm.
Ladders after three rounds:
Pool one – Eaglehawk 12 points, 2.68 net run rate; Strathdale-Maristians 12, 0.74; Huntly-North Epsom 6, 0.20; Bendigo 6, -0.40; Bendigo United 0, -3.08.
